We recreate authentic enlightening experiences in audition, olfaction and gustation from the faded dynasties.

汪建策
Atom Wang, 哲人，琴者，现为多大中文古琴会社长。多次参加多伦多龙舟节音乐表演演出《潇湘水云》，《流水》和《乌夜啼》和戏曲表演合奏昆曲《牡丹亭》。其中《流水》被多伦多市政311热线收藏。琴风澄静。
Atom Wang obtained his Doctor of Philosophy from the Department of Medical Biophysics at University of Toronto studying acute myeloid leukemia. Currently he directs UTChinese Network Qin society. He has performed Water meets Clouds on Xiang River, Flowing Streams, and Jackdaw’s Serenade in the Toronto Dragon Island Festival for the past two years. His “Flowing streams” was selected for the Toronto 311 music program.

胡昳
琴者，香者，茶者。广陵派传人，师从徐碧先生（现任上海音乐学院古琴教授，为戴晓莲先生之大弟子）。自2007年始习琴，2011年大学毕业后任职于上海老牌琴馆元音琴院，从事古琴演奏与教学工作。香道师从乔木森。其琴风飘逸流畅，潇洒自如，注重气韵贯通与内在表达。
Practitioner of the Guangling Lineage, Clover has studied under Professor Xu Bi at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music since 2007. She joined the long-established Shanghai qin studio Yuan Yin Qin Yuan as qin performer and teacher, where she picked up incense making from Musen Qiao and ceremonial tea making.

Chinese incense, known as 香 (pronouced as Shiang), is the art of aroma with thousands of years of history, deeply intertwined with religion, philosophy, medicine, and daily life. It is subtle, layered, and often designed to evolve as it burns, guiding mediation and mental transcendence.
香，是一门拥有数千年历史的嗅觉艺术，与宗教、哲学、医药及日常生活深度融合。它气息幽微，层次丰富，且常在燃烧过程中渐变升华，引导冥想，平心静气，凝神归元。
What is QIN
琴为何物
琴, pronounced as Chin, is a 7-string acoustic instrument with 3000 years of history. Originally designed to communicate with the ancestral gods, the sound of qin is subtle, ethereal, and introspective, capable of expressing deep tranquility. Emphasizing on inner resonance and mental peace, its music embodies Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian ideals, reflecting harmony with nature and the pursuit of virtue.
琴，是拥有三千年历史的七弦拨弦乐器。其音色幽微空灵而内省，能传达深邃与宁静。远古时期曾用于与先祖神灵沟通，而后为文人抒发情感。琴乐注重内在共鸣与心神平和，融汇佛、道、儒三家思想精髓，既体现与自然相谐的哲思，亦承载对品德与真知的追求。
