上弦，是声音的起点。亦是人与琴建立关系的第一步。
Stringing is the beginning of sound and the first step in establishing a relationship between qinster and qin.

不设统一流程，不作批量处理。每一张琴，皆在实际触弦与聆听中判断其性，再行安置其弦。于岳山、龙龈、雁足之间，调整其受力与行走，使振动有所归，杂音有所止。
Each qin is approached individually, its character assessed through direct touch and careful listening before the strings are set in place.
Between the sound bridge, dragon gum, and goose feet, tension and alignment are adjusted so that vibration finds its proper path, minimizing extraneous noise.

  • 手工上弦，不适用上弦器等辅助，确保音高
    All stringing is done by hand, without the use of mechanical winding tools, ensuring precise pitch control.

  • 调整蝇头于岳山上的位置，确保琴弦与岳山充分震动
    The positioning of the string knots (yingtou) at the sound bridge is finely adjusted to allow full and effective vibration at the contact point.

  • 断弦续弦，弦长、弦径与张力的个体化匹配
    Broken strings are repaired and rejoined where possible; string length, gauge, and tension are individually matched to each instrument.

  • 音准体系重建（泛音与按音校正）
    Reconstruction of the tuning system, including calibration of harmonics and stopped tones.
